WWL Consortium Construction Support Project
The goal of this project is to develop innovative global citizens who can play an active role in the world in the future. This project is an initiative designed to help achieve an AL (Advanced learning) Network, which will provide High school students with advanced learning opportunities such as holding an international conference based on a theme or promoting inquiry activities, with the cooperation of domestic and overseas universities, companies, and international organizations.

Our aim is to produce young people from Yamanashi who can think independently and work from a global perspective towards achieving the creation of a sustainable society, making use of the rich natural resources of Yamanashi to benefit industry, education, Health, the economy, etc.
As a base school, Kofu First High School will focus on the following two points:
(1) Collaborating with universities, companies, NPOs, and other institutions to provide advanced learning that improves research activities.
(2) improving English language discussion ability through collaborative programs with overseas companies, universities, and high schools.

In the first half of the year, all students learn the basics of research activities under the theme of "agriculture". In the second half of the year, students divide into groups, set their goals, form plans for solutions and make a presentation at the Yamanashi Brand Summit.
[2nd year students]
Students improve their problem-solving plans through
on-site surveys and make presentations on their research results in English at the Yamanashi Brand Summit.
[3rd year students]
Students propose solutions based on the results of their research to local companies, government departments, universities, etc. as a "final proposal″, and summarize the results of their research in an extended piece of writing.
